Mind & Body Connection Autumnal Reset

Friday 2nd October 7:30pm at Wildbox, Bristol

Autumnal Reset: About Event

We are excited to be collaborating with Shula Palmer Jones from Shula Yoga to create a warm and cosy evening at The Wildbox, Bristol. This seasonal wellbeing event comes just in time for you to refocus and reset as we move from Summer towards Autumn Equinox (Mabon in the Wheel of the Year) which encourages us to let go of what we no longer need.

It’s the perfect time to set aside two blissful hours and come back to what you know. Drop out and tune into yourself. Your mind and body will be supported, positively stretched and relaxed with our expertise guiding and empowering you all the way.

Yoga, guided meditation through breath work and visualisation, reflective journaling and goal setting will all be included along with a luxury gift and wellbeing techniques you can take away to support yourself throughout the season into Winter and beyond during this Autumnal reset.

This is perfect for you if…

Meet your hosts for the Autumnal Reset, Abi Unwin & Shula Palmer Jones

Hi, I'm Abi

Abi Unwin, founder of AJC and accredited master executive coach will be your coach and host for the evening in partnership with Shula. You can read more about Abi here

"Shula and I got our heads together after yoga one Monday evening (she’s my teacher and has been for 8 years) to create this special mini retreat for people who need to get ‘unstuck’ and ‘feel better’ through mind and body stretches. I noticed how yoga releases tension and positively stretches the body just as coaching allows us to relax and also stretch our minds. This got me to thinking how wonderful it would be to combine the two and has led to our first collaboration."

Abi has over 20 years of coaching experience and will guide you through group reflection, visualisation and journaling to bring clarity, create goals with small steps, and power your motivation. Using NLP, coaching and goal setting, Abi will support you to release pressure, unlock potential, and channel it into action.

You'll write down your thoughts and ideas privately. At the end of the evening, you'll be given self coaching techniques to take away plus a month of special access to Shula's online group for yoga practice at home.  And a luxury gift to support your wellbeing.

I’m Shula, hello.

I have taught Hatha/Gitananda Yoga in the Hanham area of Bristol for 10+ years. Through the authentic Indian approach Gitananda Yoga offers, I am able to teach all aspects of yoga including Pranayama (breathing) Asana (movement and postures) & relaxation, enabling individuals to leave sessions feeling refreshed and rejuvenated. My training was both in the UK and Pondicherry India at ICYER – the International Centre for Yoga Education & Research under the tutelage Of Dr Ananda Balayogi Bhavanani.

I am here to maximise the health benefits of yoga for everyone which increases mental clarity, greater flexibility and strength – regardless of ability, age or experience. The yoga I offer is friendly and welcoming as I believe we are all better able to enjoy the mental and physical benefits of our yoga practice when we are happy and relaxed.

On a personal note, when I am not teaching yoga, I can be found walking Poppy our rescue pug dog, pottering in the garden or travelling around the countryside on my classic Triumph motorcycle.
